Principal’s Corner
Dear Springridge Families,
Another successful school year has ended. We have been blessed to work
with each of your children. Every year at Springridge is a step forward in
preparing for their future. Thank you for allowing us to educate your
children.
If you haven’t heard, Springridge is predicted to be rated a TEA
Exemplary campus again for the third year in a row! We are all excited
about this accomplishment. We hope that you take a moment to share the
good news with a friend, neighbor, or parent that has not had the
opportunity to read this newsletter.
All parents should have received their child’s Confidential Student
Report for TAKS, LAT, and/or TELPAS scores by now. If not, check your
child’s backpack or call the homeroom teacher.
Our end-of-year classroom parties are tomorrow. Check with your child’s
homeroom teacher for specifics.
Have you completed your registration forms for next school year? Don’t
wait until the last minute. Some grade levels are almost filled to
capacity.
Have a restful, eventful, exciting, and safe summer break!

ELEMENTARY REGISTRATION BEGINS AUGUST 10, 2010
The 2010-2011 school year begins on August 23. Elementary parents are
strongly encouraged to register their children in school prior to the
first day of classes. Parents can register on Tuesday, August 10, through
Friday, August 13, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Please bring the following documents for registration:
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• Proof of Residence in RISD (gas, water, electric bill, or current lease)
• Parent Driver’s License
• Current Immunization Record
• Last Report Card
There is limited capacity for each grade level. Waiting to register may
result in a child not being able to attend our school and being assigned
to another through the Overflow Office.
