PACE is Richardson ISD's new after school program. PACE stands for Physical
activity, Academic assistance, Character education, and Enrichment. Our
mission is to protect, inspire and challenge students through quality after
school programs.
Mrs. Stephanie Martin Patel
is this year's coordinator. Mrs. Patel has worked for RISD since 2004 as a
Kindergarten teacher at Springridge Elementary. She recently married in July
2009. She and her husband have two cocker spaniels named Chloe and Bella. In
her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
This past summer she went to an orphanage in Africa where she worked,
taught, and shared teaching ideas with other educators. She learned a lot
about making each moment matter. She is excited about the PACE program
because it means that she will get to spend more time with the children that
mean so much to her here at Springridge.
